RVW2 Ralph Vaughan Williams' folk song papers held at the British Library. This collection consists of three thick bound octavo volumes (RVW2/1 to RVW2/3), one bound quarto volume (RVW2/4), six small unbound ms books (one quarto and five octavo) (RVW2/5 to RVW2/10), and four loose sheets of ms paper (RVW2/11).

Ralph Vaughan Williams () belonged in part to the English "pastoral school". By he had become intensely interested in the English folksong tradition and resolved to incorporate it into his creative work. He developed his own distinctive style, blending the folk traditions with a more advanced type of rhythm and harmony/5(5).

Two collections of Ralph Vaughan Williams' papers are included in the Full English project: his Folk Song collection at the British Library (referred to in the Full English as RVW2), and the smaller collection at the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library (RVW1).
